PAI Partners is seeking a motivated legal trainee within the Corporate Operations Department team based in Luxembourg ideally from January 2025 and for a period of six months.

Key responsabilities
- Drafting/reviewing of legal documents and formalities concerning transactions related to the day-to-day management of holding companies managed by PAI (incorporation, dissolution, bank account opening, approval of annual accounts, statutory modifications, capital increase etc.).
- Assist in preparing/maintaining the corporate governance documentation (preparing board packs, running board meetings, drafting the minutes and resolutions, prepare and review documentation for shareholders general meetings) for holding companies.
- Monitoring and reviewing legal documentation related to transactions/one-off operations carried-out by PAI, including deal execution.
- Liaising with independent public authorities, notaries, lawyers, auditors, service providers (central administration, depositary bank, administrative/corporate agents, accountants etc.) and other professionals.
- Assist in preparing/maintaining the corporate governance of the management bodies of the Luxembourg AIFM (Board of the AIFM, Conducting Officers meetings etc.) and of the Luxembourg AIFs under management in relation to the day-to-day management, fundraising or deal execution.
- Legal research / knowledge management.
Required knowledge and skills
- Minimum master’s degree in law (Business Law, International Law) – A double master’s degree in finance/management and business law would be an asset;
- Attention to detail, timeliness and organizational skills;
- Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate strong communication skills;
- Autonomous, with delivery focus, hands-on approach and able to work in an international environment;
- Able to cope with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment; and
- Fluency in French and English.
