To support the Luxembourg Tax Director, Providence is seeking to hire a Tax Advisor to work in Providence’s Luxembourg office.

Purpose of the Position

For this role you will be responsible for global diverse areas of tax compliance and reporting with involvement in aspects of tax planning across the organization.
The individual will have exposure to structures used in private equity investments and funds and will work closely with Providence’s internal tax, finance and legal experts and local external advisors.

Tax Advisor Responsibilities

• Preparation of Corporate Income Tax returns
• Preparation of monthly and annual VAT returns
• Handle the correspondence and payments with Tax Authorities
• Liaising with Luxembourg tax authorities for tax litigations, audits and automatic exchange of information
• FATCA/CRS compliance of the Luxembourg entities
• Coordinate or handle any had hoc tax queries/projects (e.g. DAC6 or TP reports)

• Business law or Finance master is desirable
• Very good knowledge of international tax environment (Income tax/ VAT/FATCA-CRS)
• Understanding of tax structuring
• Excellent English / French – both written and spoken
• Excellent working accounting knowledge
• Proficient in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
