The legal team based in Berlin, Germany, which is providing in-house support to business in a wide geographical area within Europe, Middle East and Africa, is searching for a new team member.
 

We would like the successful candidate to join us as soon as possible (April or May at the latest). The internship contract is for 1 year.

We are searching for a fast learning candidate who will be able to work autonomously on:

- drafting and negotiating contracts for the international sale or purchase of goods and services (mainly in English language and under various laws e.g. English, French or German Law);
- review of requests for quotation / public tenders received from customers for evaluation of commercial and other contractual risks and work on their mitigation with the bid team;
- providing qualified legal advices to various functions such as sales, procurement, project management, finance, service;
- controlling internal compliance with company’s policies;
- performing detailed legal research in different areas of expertise.

- Master degree in Law obtained in a EU jurisdiction e.g. German First State Exam or French Master 2 in business / contract / international law. 

- Very good knowledge of Law of Obligations (Contract Law). Knowledge of Public Procurement Law, Intellectual Property Law, Corporate Law and EU Personal Data Law is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal language skills in English (skills in other languages e.g. German, French, Polish is a plus).
- First subject related professional experience (e.g. from internships).
- Very good knowledge of standard office software and general ability to understand and apply software tools efficiently.
- Proactive, structured, result oriented and careful working approach.
- Open personality that enables team work with a balanced level of self-confidence.
-Work permit in the EU mandatory.
