Overall objective of the position
The Legal Trainee will work closely with our legal team to gain practical experience and exposure to a wide range of legal matters, with a particular emphasis on commercial and contractual matters. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, the intern will participate in legal research, drafting and reviewing contracts, analyzing legal documents and providing general support to ongoing legal projects at the French and European levels. This internship provides a valuable opportunity for professional development and exposure to the legal activities of a leading company in the spirits sector.
This is a six-month internship starting in July or September 2024.
What you can expect

Conduct legal research on various commercial and contractual matters.

Participate in the drafting, review and negotiation of contracts and agreements.

Analyze legal documents, identify key issues and make recommendations.

Contribute to the maintenance and organization of legal files and databases.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal concerns and provide advice.

Stay current on laws, regulations and industry trends that impact company operations.

Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the legal team.
Your contribution
-
Master’s degree (MA, MBA or equivalent); master's degree in law (Master II), or student lawyer.

Or in the process of obtaining a master's degree in law (Master II), or trainee lawyer ("student lawyer").

Strong academic record and demonstrated interest in commercial and contractual law.
